2017 Pennsylvania Anti-Fraud Plan Activity Report

 

Authority for requesting this report may be found at 75 Pa. C.S. §§1811 through 1824 for motor vehicle insurance companies and for workers’ compensation insurance companies at 77 P.S. §§1040.1 through 1040.5.
 
Insurance companies failing to file or timely file statements or reports are subject to the penalty provisions of Section 320(e)(1) (40 P.S. §443) of The Insurance Company Law.
 
Accordingly, motor vehicle and workers’ compensation insurance companies are hereby requested to provide their calendar year 2017 reports of Anti-Fraud plan activity to the department by March 31st. Please note the deadline has been extended to May 31st, 2018 due to the delayed availability of the survey.

Upon successful completion and satisfaction of all report parameters, a copy of the finished report will appear.
Print a copy of your report for your records prior to closing your Internet browser.
Submitter will automatically receive a copy of the filed report which will serve as the filing receipt.

The determination regarding entering for a single company vs. a group is based on your fraud plan.  If the plan was filed for individual companies, you should enter each company separately. If it was filed for a group, you should enter the information for a group.

Insurers are responsible for meeting the reporting requirements in a timely manner.  Insurance companies failing to file or timely file statements or reports are subject to the penalty provisions of Section 320(e)(1) (40 P.S. §443) of The Insurance Company Law.  Extensions to the filing deadline may be considered at the discretion of the Division Chief.  Any request for an extension must be submitted via mail or email no later than 10 business days prior to the filing deadline.  Extensions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
