Health Insurance

Choosing health insurance is one of the most important choices you can make to help protect your family’s health and well-being.

With so many types of health insurance, ways to get coverage, and words you’ve never heard before, understanding health insurance can be a challenge. So, the Pennsylvania Insurance Department developed a separate website dedicated just to:

  • Helping you learn the basics about health insurance
  • Understanding your health insurance needs and options
  • Answering your health insurance questions, filing a complaint
or appealig a denied medical claim
  • Providing easy-to-understand, educational health insurance
    information and resources

Are you single or do you have a family? Are you over 65? Out of work? Have a pre-existing condition?  Own a small business? Whatever your life situation or needs, you can explore your health insurance options and find extra resources at www.PaHealthOptions.com.
