2021 Health Insurance Enrollment Changes

For plan year 2021, Pennsylvania is transitioning from HealthCare.gov to its own state-based health insurance marketplace called Pennie. Pennie is PA's official destination for shopping and purchasing quality health insurance plans and the only place to access financial assistance, if eligible.

Pennie will help customers who have used Healthcare.gov in the past, individuals and families without access to employer coverage, as well as uninsured Pennsylvanians. The 2021 Open Enrollment Period for Pennsylvanians will begin November 1, 2020 and end January 15, 2021.

To learn more about Pennie, health insurance options, and financial assistance availability, please visit pennie.com.

Please Note: Pennsylvanians seeking to secure health insurance coverage for the remainder of 2020, who are eligible for a special enrollment period, should use HealthCare.gov.
