Adobe Acrobat (PDF) Documents

The software that is used to view and/or print PDF documents is available from Adobe. There is no charge for this software. It is available for several types of computers and in several languages. Instructions for downloading this software is available on Adobe´s web site. The software includes installation instructions.

To download and save PDF documents onto your mouse-equipped computer system, place the cursor on the document link (the pointer will change its shape) and press the mouse button appropriate for your computer. Almost every browser will display a dialog box or menu with at least one option being "Save File", "Save Target", "Save to disk", "Save Link as" or some other option using "Save". Select the "Save" option and specify where on your computer the file should be placed.

The PDF software can be installed and executed without an active internet connection at any time. Once the software is installed and the PDF documents are saved onto your computer, they may be examined at your leisure.

Compressed (ZIP) Documents

To download and save ZIP document archives onto your mouse-equipped computer system, place the cursor on the document link (the pointer will change its shape) and press the mouse button appropriate for your computer. Almost every browser will display a dialog box or menu with at least one option being "Save File", "Save Target", "Save to disk", "Save Link as" or some other option using "Save". Select the "Save" option and specify where on your computer the file should be placed.

PowerPoint/Excel Documents

To download and save PowerPoint or Excel documents onto your mouse-equipped computer system, place the cursor on the document link (the pointer will change its shape) and press the mouse button appropriate for your computer (the right button for Windows computers). Almost every browser will display a dialog box or menu with at least one option being "Save File", "Save Target", "Save to disk", "Save Link as" or some other option using "Save". Select the "Save" option and specify where on your computer the file should be placed.

If you simply click on the link as if it were any normal link, and you have PowerPoint/Excel or Office installed, your computer will try to open the file directly. If you do not have PowerPoint/Excel or Office installed you will be asked to save the file.

Software to view Microsoft PowerPoint presentations or Excel Spreadsheets on computers running Microsoft Windows can be downloaded directly from Microsoft.
