When Rockwood was placed into liquidation, all active policies were cancelled thirty days after the date of liquidation or on the policy expiration date, whichever was earliest.

September 24, 2010 has been established as a Claims Bar Date. Any and all claims against Rockwood Insurance Company, or against the Insurance Commissioner of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting in his capacity as Statutory Liquidator of Rockwood Insurance Company, or in any way affecting or seeking to affect any assets of Rockwood Insurance Company, must have been filed with the Liquidator no later than the September 24, 2010 Bar Date.
